Within this type of environment, local government officers need to be ever more aware of how successful their organisations are in delivering services and how best they should communicate their internal visions and values for the future to their local communities who help finance these services. At the end of the day as we all know, councils will be judged by the auditors on their overall performance, the value they give for money and the standard of their services.
