  Community Safety Anti Social Behaviour

ASB is a complicated issue and covers a range of behaviours.

The term ASB means different things to different people and the actual level of ASB varies greatly from one neighbourhood to the other. The current Government and media hype regarding the issue and in particular Anti Social Behaviour Orders has reached fever pitch and this has led to increasingly high expectations from the public.

We provide an opportunity to take control of this issue by developing a response to ASB based on an understanding of what ASB means locally. Through consultation with residents and young people we can put together a picture of ASB at a Neighbourhood, Ward, District or County level. This data can be used as part of a problem solving approach to tackle ASB and inform strategy and tactics including the provision of services.

Our Consultants are able to support you in developing local responses and to establish policies and procedures based on best practice and our expertise. We can also evaluate existing practice and make suggestions for developing your local response to ASB.
We have recently undertaken a number of evaluations covering Local Authority and multi agency teams seeking to reduce ASB in their areas. We have also developed ASB Polices and Procedures for clients. To find out how we can support you please get in touch via the web or by phone or fax.
